    I'm captivated by the background here. The color and gradient of the sky, the stars, the shine on the water, all seem to suggest to me that the celestial orb we see here is much brighter than our moon but much dimmer than our sun. It's otherworldly in a way that really tickles my imagination.

    Well, technically they can. Big cats like lions and tigers can also purr, but they only purr on the exhale, not on the inhale and exhale like domestic cats. Because of this, their purrs are more intermittent, and the sound is not continuous.
