    I concur. Like I said in another post, in my opinion the key to make a realistic yet not uncanny anthro is to go the cartoonish way. In other words, just start with the regular animal face and add expression to it, but avoiding obvious human features. Like a cartoon. Usually just eyebrows and a slightly wider face are enough.

    Many photorealistic works go the other way around, falling inevitably in the uncanny valley, since we can see the human face behind, yet the character is not human.

    Well I wanted to create what would real anthropomorphic fox women would look like in the real world without making them as uncanny as Cats characters. But to each their own I guess.
