We have updated our quality standards found under our uploading guidelines.
This was done mostly because modern AI generations are of much better quality now than they have been in the past, and we would like for this archive to focus on displaying the best work, not just any and all work. Please take a moment to review the guidelines before uploading going forward now. Older submissions will be exempt for this at this point in time, but keep in mind in the far future we might clean those up as quality continues to improve.

MemberI actually prefer this style, because it avoids the effect of having her look like a human woman painted like a fox with really realistic facial prosthetics.

MemberWell I wanted to create what would real anthropomorphic fox women would look like in the real world without making them as uncanny as Cats characters. But to each their own I guess.
Evellon
MemberI concur. Like I said in another post, in my opinion the key to make a realistic yet not uncanny anthro is to go the cartoonish way. In other words, just start with the regular animal face and add expression to it, but avoiding obvious human features. Like a cartoon. Usually just eyebrows and a slightly wider face are enough.
Many photorealistic works go the other way around, falling inevitably in the uncanny valley, since we can see the human face behind, yet the character is not human.

MemberYeah I'm not a fan of those stuff. I experimented with different models and Loras before I was able to make a decent enough realistic fox women. I still feel like the colors of their fur are too vibrant, but I did nail most of the eyes and especially the face. The reason why this photo wasn't as realistic compared to the others I've made is most likely because of the foreskin Lora I used which was meant for anime style/cartoon style photos, but not real world foreskins, so it affected the rest of the photo into this stylized artstyle.
What do you think of my other "artworks"?
Evellon
MemberOh I really like them. This one is more aesthetically pleasing, while the others are more realistic. One director that I believe nailed pretty closely what I mean is Tenko (as far as one could expect an anthro to look in real life).

MemberOh yeah I've been impressed with Tenko's pieces way before I knew how to make my own. I feel like I've nailed the faces of the foxes I've made, and also the genitalia and body proportions. They're realistic enough to pass off as something that could exist in real life, while also not too ugly or uncanny, and they look like people rather than just animals with tits and thighs that could crush a man's skull. I just need to nail the fur into something similar Tenko made with his pieces.
