On the subject of sports cats, if anyone has any ideas for various messed up things I can do to a sports cat, do let me know and I *MIGHT* decide to do something with them (this is not a promise that I will do your request, if it happens I will post it to e6ai. Don't send me a million followup messages about it).

Don't get too weird in the comments here or you're gonna get in trouble, send me a message instead.

I bought a speech bubble vector pack a while back for Krita. Forgot where I got it from to be honest but I use a multi-layered method for adding texts.

To make something like this, did you make the background and gen each character individually and then edit the characters onto it? I've tried doing that but end up with artifacts around the characters because the background remover usually leaves some pixels around the characters from the initial gen. Any advice for making big multi-character scenes like this?

    Thanks for the nice feedback!

Yep, you got it, it's exactly as you describe. You just need to dial in that background removal process is all. Prompting "monotone background, white background" gives me perfectly white, solid backgrounds every time, so the removal isn't that hard.

edit - I should mention the characters are given a second or third refinement pass once placed on the board, so even if there are artifacts around the edges the BG removal missed, the refinement pass will clean that up.

Thanks! I couldn't find any way to AI-gen such a scene like this, which I have on-and-off tried over the past couple years whenever newer and better models come out.

This scene was made using a bit of trickery - it was simply a gen of a guy using a fleshlight cylindrical sex toy. Then I painted over the toy with the snake's colors and extended it around the body, masked over it and let the AI render in the details.

This (and your recent other vids) seem like quite a step up in the video aspect of AI. This has a similar feel as right around this time last year when Kling came into the scene with their video capabilities that was blowing everyone's minds.

If this is actually all it took, then yeah, that's impressive. You have to factor in too just how reined in these larger, public models are with the copyright/NSFW restrictions. I'd say in about 6-12 months the open source models are going to catch up to this level without all those restrictions. LORAs will start popping up too for further refinement, and I suspect optimization will also be dialed in, which will lower the entry barrier more for local genning.

It's been interesting watching this tech evolve over the past few of years. But yes, fun clip. Keep at it.

Going back through your gens and all your World of Midria scenes have been really impressive! It seems like you have a great sense of character design. There are some more uncommon aspects that really make it feel like a fantastical setting, like the quadrupedal dragon wearing jewelry/clothes like a veil and the Chirling having proper bat wings/hands instead of just wings on the back. You also do a great job giving even common fantasy creatures a unique vibe, like the Gnoll here feels completely different than D&D Gnolls (and the horned skull mask looks awesome!).

And overall the sheer quality of your gens is really impressive, you somehow manage to make them both well detailed but also very clean. A great showcase of what people with artistic talent can do using gens as a tool.

To make something like this, did you make the background and gen each character individually and then edit the characters onto it? I've tried doing that but end up with artifacts around the characters because the background remover usually leaves some pixels around the characters from the initial gen.
