“Watership Down” is a novel by Richard Adams that was published in 1972.

The novel has received multiple visual adaptations: in 1978, an animated film adaptation of the work was released, which retains the novel’s mature and at times violent tone; an animated TV series (1999–2001), more suited for a younger audience; and a Netflix animated miniseries in 2018.
