I have several images sitting for days with no approval while newer ones get approved. They just sit there. Are they going to be approved or not? If not, then disapprove them so I can fix tags or delete them or ??? so I can put other stuff up? They are just taking up upload slots. Also, I have two images that should have been deleted for being superseded that also just seem to be sitting there for no reason for days without approval. I am really confused about what is going on here.
Never mind, I found the help page. A very disappointing and honestly kind of sketchy system if you ask me. Leave a person's potentially problematic post up for 30 days without explanation, garner 100 favas and upvotes, fall off the end of a cliff with no explanation after a month. It really puts a damper on wanting to post I can tell you that.

Apologies. e6ai isn't staffed to the same degree as other sites. Approvals tend to be in bursts.

If you need more staff members I'd happily apply for it. I lurk occasionally but if I were a janitor I'd certainly go through approving images at least once per day. Also don't use blacklisting so I see all the posts. Feel like some moderators use blacklisting and miss a lot of posts that then get pushed way behind and get lost. I had one such post deleted myself.
