Topic: How does the 'No Advertising' policy square with the "Commission Info" field in user profiles?

Posted under General

Hey mods, quick question -- are we still okay to fill in information in the Commission Information field of our user profiles, that's built into e6ai? Or is that intended to be deprecated and removed?

I don't want to be in violation of the rules just for having filled out a field on the user profiles that's designed around advertising!

real question did you read what entails the "No advertising"?
because nothing about commission is mentioned, just paywalled content is considered advertisement of paywalled content
i could be wrong but that's what seems to be told

Hi friend!

Commissions should be fine as long as it's not aggressively advertised.
Having it in your bio like you have now is perfectly fine but please don't make it a point to push it on every post you upload.

Thank you, Jello! I figured as such but it's always best to check first. :)

I see where there's a "Commissions" area in your profile, but my question is how do you actually see people's profiles so that you can see this information? I click on an image, but nothing in that image, even under the creator's name, points you to their actual profile. Clicking their name only sends you to a page showing a list of all artwork they've uploaded.

You can do this by scrolling all the way down past the tags to the Information bar. Look for the uploader info and click on their name. It'll bring you to their profile. You can also manually enter the director's name into the Search Username bar for a faster way to find their profile.

There isn't any uploader info available on the post page. At least not for regular users.

Hi friend!

If you scroll down to history on the far left of the post you can click "Tags/Desc"
That should show you who the uploader is since they're the first person to edit the post.
