    I'm curious how the men in Midria find the female ferals they bond and mate with for life or how the creatures do it.

    As far as worldbuilding goes I don't have a 100% complete answer for this, just a partial answer. Keep in mind the ferals of Midria are not quite as animal-minded as they are irl. It's a high fantasy world, and in it, its druidic history of ages past have had some influence on nearly all species. Basically heightening their empathy in order to allow creatures to better understand humans, and return the favor with the ability to more easily and clearly express themselves, as depicted in the artwork.

    In short, a little basic taming skill would go a long way, especially since so many species are urban adapted and live near human settlements (think like irl raccoons, but a lot more of this).

    Hooves don't have them!

    Probably based off of some MLP art. Hooves with pads are a pretty common for style
