    I think it's a spectrum between truly non-sexual artistic nudity, erotica and pornography. This image is artistic but also erotic. I guess erotica is just a better name for what usually is called 'softcore porn'. Basically something featuring nudity and sex appeal but tastefully done and without genital closeups or sex.

    On the other hand a lot of imagery which is explicitly pornographic still has artistic principles applied in its creation for aesthetic appeal. So I guess it's more about the intention, whether or not the main aim is to create art or to titillate, that defines whether or not something is pornography or art.

    I guess based on that definition you could argue this image is porn, since based on the story it's placing the viewer in the place of a voyeur while the subject is enjoying being an exhibitionist.

    I'd argue Evangelion has a broader message of if we have empathy with each other we may be able to reduce everyone's suffering or at least not contribute to it.

    She's gorgeous and her voice sounds smooth by the way.

    Pornography is defined by the obsession over close ups of genital parts. Eroticism does not, or not that intensely. That's why the genital parts of a Greek statue was smooth for a woman, and small for a man. It was a non sexualized nudity. Vulgarity and obscenity also define pornography, but those are relative values now.

    I agree, the line is the intent. Something like this pic is definitely artistic nudity and not pornography, because I don't believe it's meant to be sexual and instead showcase beauty, which it does VERY well!

    Also, she looks very tasteful! 😉

    I had kinda figured the snowy owl-based pipin weren't as bothered by the cold (same goes for the arctic fox), and it also wasn't meant to be a dead of winter depiction either, more like just a morning chill, but yeah I hear ya. Most of the background chars have their back turned, so it's ambiguous what they're doing up front ;)
