    NovelAI's v4.5 models are Flux based, which makes them much better at text. Flux is an open source model so there are places you can try it out or you can even run it locally with enough VRAM, but the base model is heavily censored. Currently NovelAI has the only good uncensored Flux based model, though there was a local model attempt called Chroma you can find which can do text well but the quality of uncensored scenes isn't great.

    Here's hoping the technology will continue to develop and common models will be able to do text well in the future!
