Do you think Wang Yangming would've listened to "Frank Sinatra - My Way"

If he had a Spotify account,I guarantee 'My Way' would absolutely dominate his Spotify Wrapped as his #1 most played song.😂

It's actually fascinating to think about.Frank Sinatra sings 'I did it my way,' which perfectly mirrors his core philosophy of following one's innate conscience. All about refusing to blindly follow external dogmas, and instead, navigating life's ups and downs by honestly following the light of your heart.

It's truly an interesting experience when these eastern and western, ancient and modern thoughts inadvertently connect with each other…

Maybe he'd also sneak 'Let It Be' into his Liked Songs, right?

Video model has to be almost certainly Seedance 2.0 (due to how high quality this video is), so it might be from ByteDance or some other third-party Chinese provider this uses them. Unless the provider has some sort of gallery, it will be hard to find the source of this video.

When inadequacy looms and the ceaseless self doubts linger,
I meditate on my garden of twinkling lights among the mountains of void.
Just remember; you are not alone.

All it takes is caring and effort to reach out and help others :)
And since i have gotten this far by help myself, it feels important to me paying it forward.

You’re right.I really love what you said about 'spending energy on what I deem important'.

Lately, perhaps due to stress,I’ve found it a bit hard to focus. To be honest, living alone in a foreign place isn't easy (even though it's not 'unfamiliar' in the traditional sense).

Because my background is quite complex. My ancestry, birthplace, and current place of study span across three different continents,so it's hard for me to find a traditional sense of 'homeland' or belonging. That's why my family and friends have almost become my only anchors to confirm 'who I am.'

At first, uploading these personal gen was just a way to relieve stress, to find a safe place where I could pour my heart out. But gradually,I found myself getting a little too immersed in this sometimes more than I intended.

I'm trying to adjust my mindset now. Like you said, I don't have to force myself to socialize;but perhaps occasionally wandering around in reality and maintaining a connection with the real world is still necessary.

My major is History. In my studies, I learned about a great philosopher (Wang Yangming maybe?,if I remember correctly), who once said before he passed away: 'My heart is bright and clear, what more is there to say?' I'm currently trying my best to find that kind of inner peace and clarity.

I really appreciate your encouragement and understanding. Your message made me feel like I'm not alone in this.

I can relate yo the feeling as i am introvert and prefer to stay alone to focus on my own stuff BUT,
I will say you are taking massive impressive steps as all of you artists and gen authors are doing when uploading your personal art and especially with stories and history attached to them like in this case.

I personally see myself as being "reserved" and my energy is spent on what i deem important rather than much of the stuff others might deem "the norm" like always going to a cafe or such.

I don't really feel lonely as i can always reach out for my friends /family /community when i need to and i don't have to feel forced :) "To each their own"

It almost looks as if Rocky is on his way to a ballet performance—one in which he has a role alongside Chase and Zuma, with Rocky playing the female lead as the prima ballerina.
