I considered that, but I was judging it more as dragonoid rather than human. I'll make another version so it looks less human.
Edit: Looks like my edit was added, thank you mods

Hello. I have been thinking about this picture creature visible hand pads for a few days. They are so well made that I am curious how did this was approached ? Then using 5 different tools, composing the best I get is pads looking acceptable but destroyed after upscaling. In this image it is clearly visible that pads follow muscle and skin bending structure. If this was fully done with image generation no hand painting or composition from parts - model must have deep understanding of primary structure then surface connections to imagine what it is to this level. If this is not artistic secret what tolls you have been using to create such hand pads ?

That's just the benefit of fewer, more wholly complete works, I keep telling myself. It only comes at the cost of strict quality assurance. I wouldn't call that weird.

I love graboids. Their head-beak and maw tongues are unironically cute and I feel like they were the only alien to compete for my attention more than xenomorphs back in the day. They are the perfect gluttons.

Unrelated; it is a shame Edgar the Bug never had more screen time in his own movie.

Hmm, well drawing on some real historical premise, I imagine them as being the equivalent of man-at-arms of irl medieval era, which back then sat in the top 10% income. A fantasy adventurer is sorta just another word for mercenary, which irl some kingdoms based their security budget around, especially early-medieval. But only some of that income is the wage itself, a good chunk of it is the spoils. Those calamites probably have some magical reagents worth a bit to the right alchemist, right?

Also, saw all your other comments today, thanks for the feedback!

In terms of lore, do contract adventurers get paid well for finding and neutralizing these creatures? I realize it’s an odd question, but I’m curious.
