The Enigma of Amigara Fault (ja:阿彌殻断層の怪; Amigara Dansou no Kai) is a short horror manga by Junji Ito and was included as a bonus story in collected tankoubon editions of Gyo .

The plot concerns a mountainside uncovered by a recent earthquake which reveals several human-shaped holes in varying sizes. People begin to be drawn to these holes, looking for the one most shaped like the seeker, to enter them. Those that enter seemingly disappear, becoming undetectable by any means, and the holes prevent people from leaving the way they came in. The protagonist and his girlfriend eventually succumb to the compulsion and enter their own respective holes.

The end of the story shows the military peeking into cracks on the other side of the mountain months later to find that those that entered the holes are trying to crawl their way out through incredibly narrow crevices in the rock, having been thoroughly mutilated and crushed by their progress through the hole.
