Jolene (grinning playfully, wiping a bit of hay from her hair): “Well, sugar, reckon I got somethin’ better to do than bale hay right now. You sittin’ there all rugged-like, how could a girl resist?”
Brad (leaning back, blushing but smirking): “You know we’ve got work to do, Jolene. Pretty sure that barn’s not gonna clean itself.”
Jolene: “Oh, I’m workin’, alright. Just takin’ care of the most important task on the ranch: keepin’ my husband happy.”
Brad (smirking despite himself, resting a hand on her hair): “You’re trouble, you know that?”
Jolene (grinning, her voice soft and warm): “Mm-hmm, but I’m your trouble. Ain’t lettin’ go of ya, Brad Wulf. Not ever.”
Brad: “Don’t plan on running, darling. You’re stuck with me, too.”
Jolene: “Good. Now sit still. I ain’t finished showin’ you how much I love ya.”
