Description

I was never able to get the AI to draw hand holding. Obviously, that's far too risqué for it! I essentially drew the hands manually (ha) via a combination of manual painting and copying fragments of other generations. I edited out each character and also generated them independently in order to get the arm posture (approximately) correct; the final result is pretty pleasing.

This was entirely done with yiffy-e18 and Stable Diffusion. I like to push the limits of what can be done, and multiple character scenes - especially where those characters are interacting - definitely do the job. These pieces take a LOT of manual editing, however. The AI generally handles details very well, but doesn't remain consistent across large scales - tails and other body parts are in the wrong places, shading is inconsistent, etc. I feel like I'm picking up a lot of the strategies from regular art in my efforts to coax the thing into generating something reasonable.
