I've been experimenting with alternative techniques of eliminating inpaint seams, and I came up with an approach of using the "Median Blur" filter coupled with "Linear motion blur". This approach is very fast but has a nasty constraint: it only works with very simple solid backgrounds and only on the outsides; I still need to remove seams manually inside of the character.

I work on an old worn IPS monitor and I also have astigmatism which makes it hard to work with dark backgrounds (as I explained in my previous post: Cosmic Otter ), for me the background in this project looks just fine however I think it might look like absolute ass when viewed on an (AM)OLED or a Retina-IPS panel - please let me know if that's the case so I could stop using this refining approach in the future to avoid damaging the colours. I want my projects to be the best quality regardless of what they are displayed on.
