Description

Example of a greater spotted northern yinglet. Better than a husky to cuddle up with on a cold night. Their biology is a bit different than the more common southern yinglets, they are live-birthers instead of ovipositors as the cold environs they favor would make keeping eggs warm nearly impossible. They lack the 'antenna' brow hairs as the cold tends to just make them snap off but the rest of their bodies are nigh invulnerable to cold of any degree due to their blood having properties similar to pure undiluted antifreeze. They live outside of the yinglet enclave system common to their southern kin and are not socially or biologically compatible with them. Living in their frigid environs has made them clever and generally more intelligent. Elusive but gregarious when befriended, they avoid general contact with strangers but repeated demonstrations of non-hostile intent will get them pulling out all manner of trade-crafts to trade with outsiders. Curious and inventive by nature, caution should be exercised when trading any advanced technology as they will quickly reverse engineer it and find a thousand uses for it that no one else had thought of.
