The Skunkworks girls are the ones that got me into this way back when fanzines were a thing, and a single picture took 10 minutes to load on the internet.

Me too. Back before the net/www we know now the place I found it was on a Usenet client - fur.artwork.erotica - 10 minutes for a single pic DL, and you were lucky if you got perhaps 10 posts in a day to the group.

Usenet, now that’s a word I haven’t heard in a long time lol. I don’t remember exactly where I found it, I still have the picture of Onyx I found in like 97, I’ve had it on every system I’ve ever had.
