In every project of mine I always try to learn something new or improve my skills. Here I've been playing around with sequence of actions. I learned that some edits are best made before upscaling, i.e. removing text, fixing big objects like tree branches or messed up outlines.

I use A1111 for image generation and GIMP for editing. After many years of using GIMP I still have very controversial feelings about its functionality. I won't make jokes about the missing Shape Tool, instead I express my resentment about GIMP not having:
1. Gradient coloring for text objects
2. Layer effects (I remember Photoshop 2014 having those, 10 years later GIMP still doesn't have any of them implemented)
3. Magnetic lasso tool
4. Angled/rotate-able rulers/guides (not sure about the correct English term for these, sorry!)

In this project I learned to use the Smudge tool and how to properly apply the Colorize tool because the ropes on the image had very different hues after I inpainted them to achieve better detailing.

I have also been experimenting with non-intrusive signatures that don't impact the original image so you could always just cut the bottom off in any editor if you don't like it. I feel quite uneasy about watermarking AI-generated images (Gilkardex, Fenix AI, Gren Art style) even after spending hours on manual edits afterwards, so I just add a tidy bar in the bottom which could easily be removed.
