[RANGER'S LOG: Entry 14]

"Be a park ranger," they said. "You'll be surrounded by nature," they said. "It'll be fun," they said. They didn't say, "Watch out for the fucking wolf man thing that lives in this neck of the woods." At least he's nice. Kinda scary, but nice. He hasn't done anything yet and he's been creeping around my campsite for a week.

[RANGER'S LOG: Entry 19]

He spoke to me today. The wolf. He called me pretty, licked my cheek, and disappeared for the rest of the day. I do not know how to feel about that and I still have to be out here for two more weeks. He keeps things interesting at least and I don't feel so alone out here with him around. He helps around the camp, too. Maybe this gig isn't so bad.

[RANGER'S LOG: Entry 23]

Only have three days left. The weather's been pretty tame these past few days. It hasnt rained and there's a cool breeze. The wolf, his name is Amaris apparently, has actually been a godsend out here. He knows these woods better than anyone and has helped me in so many ways. But... He also asked if I had a "mate", today. Um, I don't, but I also really don't think hooking up with some wolf is a good idea.

    Honestly, I do everything on CivitAi cuz my PC isn't properly set up for native generation. They've upgraded their site to use PonyXL, so making stuff that actually looks good is a lot easier now.
