you're certainly not wrong. the style is common here because that's generally how these models make them. also, the more detailed/high res/realistic looking something is the more the small details that are wrong stand out. you can get away with more in a sketchy format.

I would suggest someone make better models and not continue using faulty ones.
I know nothing about it.
Maybe correct the current ones used.

rest assured, i'm always looking for new/better ways to do stuff. when there's something better available, i'll definitely be trying it! making new models or fixing existing ones isn't something i'm equipped to do myself though.
