Much like Jotaro and Dio, Joel and Vinny have stands of the same type (i.e close-range punch-ghosts with reality-warping abilities instead of time-stop). For Vinny, the reality-warping is less potent, but manifests in two distinct ways.

Firstly, things hit directly by Fungal Funny become partially corrupted via Emanuel Blast (sort of a reverse Crazy Diamond), which can have random effects. While potentially lethal, these effects are temporary and fade with both time and distance away from the stand. This can be used to transform objects into potentially more useful things (sort of like Giorno's transformation ability but less reliable), though already corrupted objects cannot be "re-rolled" until the effect fades completely.

Secondly, it manifests as a streak of bad luck targeting Vinny himself in both natural and paranormal ways, always at a moment that is ironic or comedic. Sadly, this means that having good luck is itself a trigger for bad luck to strike (Nova Skeleton, anyone?). The nature of these bad luck events leans towards the paranormal, like clipping through a wall while trying to lean against it.

Coming up with a stand for Vinny was actually pretty tough. I was tempted to pick one one Red Vox's Albums to theme it after (mainly Another Light with it's humanoid silhouette, or The New Flesh by making it Meat), but neither one fit the abilities I most associate with Vinny which also needed to mirror Joel's ability. In the end, a more generic Vineshroom punch-ghost was what came out, but sometimes it's better to keep it simple.
