Raythan's homeplanet is already dangerous as it is, a barren desert that they had to conquer and tame as they take advantage of the few resources they have, conquer thrist and prosper.

Yet no one knew that death could come without warning and without a clash of fists or claws: two explorers manage to find a camp, unsure if it belong to civilian travelers or military but they find it barren and abandoned, arround they just could found already decayed corpses of Raythan, from afar and saftey they can't see well but they saw some of their kin's man lost hair or in patches, skin burnt like if they were exposed to the sun, blood everywhere.. They have no idea what might get them killed, they personally think is the Land of the Ancients and they are angry for the camp to stepping on sacred soil, taking their toll with their lives, this is the most common popular theory, that some lands are claimed by their Antecestors as their home and resting site.

The medics of the White Serpent Cult howver, work on another theory about a odorless and invisible miasma that is pouring form the land itself, this theory is highly devated and is quite a hot topic between the medics.

No Raythan would understand that this event was resoult of radiation poisioning... some areas of the desert have active radiomaterial emiting strong, luckly are small and very few patches of this happening, yet the some miners are able to find stable and harmless radioactive mineral, they called it the "Sacred Red" , the miner that finds the mineral -wich is also very few of it- gets all of the claims, while giving by tradition a few samples to the Mine Master.
