Description

“Where am I from? Hm, I don’t know. The last thing I remember about myself is that I simply woke up one night in a forest, on the shore of a lake.”

A little myth or reality

Long ago, darkness and light gave birth to the night and the stars. As soon as the sun disappeared beyond the horizon, they appeared in all their glory, with the moon at their head. Even though the night was surrounded by stars, she felt very lonely and could only silently watch as the moon, surrounded by her star friends, rejoiced and created snow-white moon rabbits upon her surface.

The night was fascinated by their beauty, and one day, she too decided try to create a rabbit. Soon, upon the earth, in the bright light of the moon, Rubby Nix appeared.

The night was very happy with her creation, even despite though her fur was black as pitch. Unfortunately, she could not hear her creator, just like all the others.

This greatly saddened the night, but strangely enough, she did not become angry with her. Instead, she watched her with concern, worried about what fate might have in store for her—and not without reason. Light and darkness found out that the night had interfered in the mortal world and, as punishment, stripped her of all her powers. But before they could do so, the night, as a sign of her care, bestowed immortality upon her creation so that no one could ever harm her.
