Description

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the advertised role of Legal Secretary at your organization. I hope my previous employment history and skillset match your requirements for this exciting position.

During my time in Societal Integration Programme I had varied work experiences as a receptionist, as a teaching assistant at primary school for special educational needs and as carer at hospice for end-of-life patients.
These diverse workplaces gave me opportunities to develop effective communication skills, adaptability and problem-solving abilities.

Most recently I have completed a legal practice experience placement at LaForge, Steele & Lye LLP which provided me with valuable insights into corporate law strategies and ethics.
I am therefore interested in dedicating myself further to legal profession especially in cases involving pro bono work which your firm is known for regularly accepting.

I appreciate you taking the time to review my application. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries regarding my background or references.

Sincerely,
Melanie C'mackintosh

Her name is an homage to certain sci-fi writer who is now mostly forgotten but to whom we owe greatly for existence of catgirls in modern culture :)

Thank you! The writer is Cordwainer Smith. I don't really see his name mentioned any more and recent science fiction anthologies usually stick with time tested set of Asimov + Heinlein + Bradbury stories.

Her mouth was inpainted to look midway between feline and human one. SD came up with ordinary looking feline one which I thought would result in articulation struggles similar to cleft palate - not great for an aspiring lawyer addressing the courtroom.
