Cuddles Before Cameras

A little sneak peek behind the scenes on set~

At Soothe Bell Studios, they have a few rules they follow diligently that make them different from other pornography companies. One such rule is "Cuddles Before Cameras." Prior to any scene involving two or more stars, they are required to enjoy some time simply cuddling and getting familiar with their partners before they begin.

Needless to say, this is an easy rule to get the stars to follow. Not only is it pleasant to simply snuggle without the pressure of putting on a show, but it's also quite a good way to get comfortable with one's partner and increase the bonds between the cast. By the time the cameras are ready to go, the stars are eager to begin.

Featured here are Summer and Brett. They've been co-stars for years, and have a strong friendship outside of the studio.

"Brett's great," Summer said when asked by an interviewer about him. "A sweeter guy you couldn't find. I'm not the type of girl to have a trainer, but if I were, he'd be my pick. Thoughtful, funny, attractive—I guarantee you the only reason he's still single is because he cums in pokemon for a living."

"She's one of my best friends," Brett said when asked about Summer. "I love her to pieces. We hang out all the time after work. I don't think I'm supposed to have favorite partners, and I have fun with all the girls on set, but Summer and I have a closer bond. I think Director Cal knows that, 'cause we're constantly paired together."

"I have no idea what you're talkin' about," Director Caltione said when asked, but gave the interviewer a wink. "See, I've got two main jobs as a director: take care of my stars, and make sure the content is as good as it can be. Summer and Brett are magical together, 'n so it's only logical to keep pairin' 'em up. We've done scenes where they're with different partners, and they play great with others, but when they're together there's just that somethin' special that you can't define."

"It's that true familiarity," he continued. "Y'know, I've been in the industry for 26 years, 'nd I tell ya: there's something about real friendship and connection in porn that you can't fake. It's a big reason why I'm always encouraging the stars to mingle with each other, and why everyone's got a company card specifically for doing stuff together after hours on my dime. I don't mind the money—got plenty of it and don't need more to be frank. I consider it an investment into the quality of our productions, and thank goodness I don't got shareholders breathin' down my neck telling me it's not a measurable asset."

With such philosophies espoused by the founder and main director of the company, it's no wonder why Soothe Bell Studios have garnered the wholesome reputation they have. It's certainly set them apart from other pornography studios, and it's that same philosophy that has earned their dedicated fanbase. So long as Director Caltione is at the head of things, it seems that Soothe Bell Studios will continue to produce what Jynx Magazine calls "pokeporn for softies," and as far as their fans are concerned, that's just how they like it.
