thank goodness for my PA, Vivian who got Maggie in the suite and in a shower and her clothes in the small wash/dryer while I did shots of scotch processing what just happened.

Vivian has a twin brother that works in the buildings mail room, Vivi, i know, their parents weren’t creative on names…

They have a small apartment together to save costs as they work to get out on their own, smart idea there.

She pulls up a chair do my desk and sets down a steaming cup of tea she mede for herself and looks at me for second before talking.

“You know as time goes on, its going to get a little more worse”.

Kind of not comprehending where shes going for a second, it dawns on me she must be talking about Maggie, after a few seconds.

“Ive known her for years and we talk, and while its not nice to drop personal things, you probably need to know this. Due to Maggie being older as she is, her heat cycles only will get more intense as she gets older. Her mother was the same so it passed down apparently. It was easy to contain when younger, but its intensity gets stronger. She is umm, hormonally activated from the sex, so it is dropping off hard now, she will be fine in a few hours”.

What about pregnancy now since… I asked.

Vivian was just shaking her head no at this, and it hit me…

“Maggie is barren” I said matter of factly, Vivian just said, “I didn’t tell that to you, but yes.”

is that why she refuses to go out with me?

Vivian just gave me a dirty look, “Ive said enough and if you want that reason she’s going to have to tell you, Ive dropped enough”.

I just nodded and had a lot to think about, now.
