Description

The High Ledger Ministry: No race leans more heavily into a blue bias - that is, power (blue) over complexity (red) - than the feylinn. While they may struggle with the intricate weave of complex spells, the raw force they can push into simple basic forms is terrifying. It is perhaps a blessing for the realm that their natural affinity remains sparse, with only 1 in about every 1,500 feylinn possessing the spark required to pursue a career as a professional arcanist.

As is often the case, spellcasters that are able to wrangle such an extremely lopsided arcane polarity tend to... indulge, to put it mildly. The empire would very much prefer to keep tabs on such citizens, or perhaps even recruit them into becoming siege mages. Why, even Archmagus Skarlena herself has come out to witness the demonstration of one such registrant.

"Alright then, show us what you can do."

Now there's a hireable face.

A lot has been written about magic on the Midrian Notebook lately, if you're a big fantasy nerd and curious to know more.
