Worked on this on and off for around 2 weeks. Total time spent probably around 12 hours.

The original maquette was done in Blender, then every character was individually inpainted using HassakuXL and whatever the most popular IL character LoRa was at the time.

Then those 8 inpainted/overpainted plates were combined in Photoshop and that resulting image was upscaled using Hassaku to harmonize appearance.

Then that upscale was DOWNSCALED through Photoshop and each character was inpainted in the same way again with their respective character LoRa's. HOWEVER I intentionally inpainted Eggman using SteinsCustom (I think v14), to distinguish him a bit more from the Mobians and make it more "uncanny".

Then I did another round of cleaning up seams in Photoshop (Healing Brush FTW).

Then THAT image was upscaled AGAIN using HassakuXL, followed by ANOTHER round of cleanup in Photoshop.

Followed by another THIRD repeat of inpainting EACH character to get them to a final level up high resolution detail.

Then I mashed together the neon logo using the free logo generator from design dot com combined with a publicly available Robotnik Industries vector image and Photoshop to add some glow using an outer glow layer effect and the "NO HEDGEHOGS" stickers were generated through ChatGPT and inserted using Photoshop's transform "tool" and some layer blending to harmonize.

THEN one last round of cleanup using the Healing Brush and finally added 2% Gaussian Noise to give it that typical "poster print" look.

And FINALLY a fairly quick (I was really running out of excitement for the image at this point) round of color grading through Lightroom.

All in all a fun learning experience but not something I would recommend.
