At first i wanted to discard it as an error, but on second thought its strangely appealing...

I suppose that would sorta be like a cloaca. Since the cloaca forks into the vagina and the anus just past the entry, then, if you were to gape it open a bit, you should see these splits within, sorta like this image here. You can see traditional art examples of this by flamespitter on e621.
