My reason is:
(State your reason)

Do note, the sites Janitor team does have a working replacement bot for these kind of request. So feel free to message me through DMAIL or on Discord of the Furry diffusion server.

(As of writing this I've been reworking the bot to be faster and more reliable, but feel free to DMail a Janitor or DM us on the discord for assistance)

For people who want to find a bot quickly, its ID is 1379935689466052658
You can search for it right from the Discord.

I want post #130641

To be replaced with:

My reason is:
Had already done some editing to make it viable for here, but right after uploading I noticed there are whiskers growing out of his left ear, which might still trigger a janitor. Quick fix.

Done

I'm going to write this here as well since there was no feedback with the discord bot like "gotcha, give us a sec" so I don't know if that worked...

I want post #142870

To be replaced with: https://files.catbox.moe/23wnu8.png

My reason is:
I'm as always too fast while uploading my shit and want to upload the slightly non fried version of the clothing patterns that I had fixed before doing so. Organize your shit better -me.

Your warning says to make another upload if my post was deleted. But the message on my deleted post (https://e6ai.net/posts/148447) says to replace it. I'm confused.

Also, I can't find any info on how to use the bot.

for replacement bot follow up to the discord and ask there. i also believe that mlem did an oopsie to not clarify further about it which could and did cause some confusion on it

you can try dmailing mlem to ask for further clarification or joining the discord to ask around

To re-clarify, you can replace both deleted and un-deleted/approved posts. Submitting a replacement for a deleted post can get it un-deleted if the replacement properly fixes the errors that were outlined in the deletion notes. To use the bot, join the e6ai Discord and in any chat (or in a private message with the "e6ai bot" user in the member list) type in "/requestreplace" without the quotes in the message box.

That command will allow you to fill a form that wants you to put:

  • The post ID number

-- This can be found in the link of the post in e6ai.net/posts/XXXXXX where the X's are the post ID
-- OR you can find it under the tag list of a post, in the Information section that shows other information like MD5, file size, file type, etc.
--- You can find all of your deleted posts on your profile, next to the Uploads text where it says "[Number] Deleted"

  • The reason for the replacement. In most cases, this is just what you fixed to get your post un-deleted.
  • The file itself or a link to the file. If providing the image file itself, you can just drag and drop it into the file box or use the file browser by clicking on said file box.

You will get a message from the bot when the replacement is approved or denied.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like many, or any, of the messaging around deletions actually gives instructions for or even mentions the Discord bot. Even the wiki/help pages don't seem to mention it either, and it would be nice to have this information included on the site's help pages somewhere. I had this same bit of confusion when I had to deal with replacements the first time as well, but now you know.
