Topic: ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ“ƒ Spoonfeeding autotagger guide for e6ai/e621

Posted under General

There's still a lot of new posts that have barebones tagging, which is annoying considering how easy it is to use autotaggers nowadays.
You don't even need a powerfull rig to use them, as they can run on typical "mom" laptop as well.
I wrote a simple guide, so that more people might learn use them as well: https://rentry.org/basic-autotagger-guide

If you say - "B-b-b-buuut, the ai tagging is le-bad! We don't need incorrect tags here ๐Ÿค“"
My answer will be - "Autogenerated tags with ~5-10% error margin are several times better than no tags at all" (or just read what i wrote in the guide to mitigate that further)

Have fun!

while this is true sometimes
i just find joy in tagging stuff honestly
having years and years of tagging knowledge makes me just like doing it while observing everything in media, sometimes coming up with new tags(since not every tag from e6 has been used and thus remain unknown for a wide range of the public)

while i personally think its just
cringe to use autotagger, if folks find this useful, so be it
appreciate for the guide on the lazy people, and for the lazier people like who couldn't understand a single thing on the guide
poggers skibidi sigma
stay awesome be pawesome

Autotagger is fine but before you press submit be sure you have manually curated the tags so that they are indeed applicable and valid.

I agree, and also used to tag everything by hand, but after the first 1000 manual uploads it gets tedious really fast, expecially with basic tags

Of course, the guide points that out as well

if i found interest in uploading stuff to here i would easily for 5k uploads and still not have enough
maybe its just me finding ways to tag everything by listing

on my e621 days i remember having a post going over 600 tags, mostly all added by hand and the rest were implications i did know and didn't know
it was a 20min collab video

Thanks a lot for that Guide. I remember I saw some mention of RedRocket JPT on someones profile. I believe it might have even been yours xD . Took me an hour or two to get started, as back then I could not find any guides. This is going to be a huge help for some newcomers.

Wish I could be as adept as FlowerSylveon, but the truth is: I totally suck at tagging xD. Early on I annoyed quite a few people as I couldn't distinguish between feral and anthro. The Auto-Tagger helps a lot here.
