What of fakemon? The species owner may consider them a Pokemon, but that does not make them property of Nintendo.

Fakemon can be related to pokemon which is owned by Nintendo, so fakemon pokemon fall under Nintendo by proxy. Besides, if it’s a fakemon then it has to imitate the existing pokemon franchise to some extent so that adds more connections to Nintendo.
