Reason: This is equivalent to what e621 does for artists that request for specific conditions for their content to be allowed on the site. You can see the implication list as such on their wiki page. We don't have a huge list for directors yet, but it was on my mind recently so why not get it started?

We don't seem to yet have a director that is fully DNP (Do Not Post), we only have conditional DNP on the list so far. For future reference, if a director asks for full unconditional DNP then that would imply avoid_posting instead.

I didn't include sprunki (which is on the list) in these implications as that is actually a franchise tag and not a director. e621 also didn't have an implication in place for this tag as well, but they do have the same note on the wiki page about not posting content from before the franchise creator's 18th birthday. I was unsure, so I left it out of this BUR for now.

shouldnt those be applied for when they do a takedown request

it should be listed along with "special instructions" so when the takedown goes to action it's granted
and those implications shouldn't be done in a BUR and moreso when the director themselfs either contact an admin directly or again with the takedown request

since they can just make an implication without needing to go to the forums and be automatically approved

over to e6 they do disregard "do not repost" by creators profiles or description or even inside the media as it would be tiring and annoying to having to deal every time as they could just change their minds afterwards in an undetermined amount of time

Well normally, yes, but I'm not just blindly making these requests for them. ChrisPhoenix just recently made this conditional DNP request, both on Discord in public messages towards staff and in a takedown request, but the implication wasn't created for them. I can't seem to find a public statement from The Yiff Republic, so I assume those were private messages to staff? As for sloppycat, they have a statement on their wiki page, but I'm not sure if that was enough or if they also messaged staff about that at any point. Either way...

I'm not taking this from profiles where they're stating as such, like with sloppycat's wiki page. You have to remember that these names are from the official Avoid Posting list, which is locked and can only be edited by Moderators and Admins. So in regards to this and the above quote, this means that staff has officially made these conditional DNP considerations already. It's probably safe to assume that doing conditional_dnp tags was forgotten as it wasn't being used yet here and that the list was so small that it just didn't occur to anyone since the cases were so infrequent.

EDIT: Also, it seems that part of the functionality of Avoid Posting and Conditional DNP request implications on e621 at least somewhat relies on the Artists page (NOT wiki or user pages) that e6ai does not have a functional equivalent for, which may also explain this. For an example of why I think this is the case, this avoid posting request lists "Other Names" which is a function only seen on Artists pages, as well as the highlighted name linking to that artist's page. Trying to find avoid posting requests on e6ai by counting up sequentially on an equivalent link such as https://e6ai.net/avoid_postings/1 brings up nothing. Of course, https://e6ai.net/directors and even trying https://e6ai.net/artists also just brings up empty pages. This seems to mean that the normal functionality for avoid posting requests seen on e621 may just be missing on e6ai since we don't have pages for Directors like e621 has for Artists, but this is just what I've noticed. Without an equivalent to the Artists pages on e6ai, this means this probably has to be done differently here.

that's an error on the staff who did the takedown and if it was listed on the special structions as the one dealing with the takedown should have complied with the cdnp

making a wiki edit shouldn't be enough unless for some reason every staff including the admins are checking every single wiki edit

EDIT: snip

that's an error on my part for forgetting that we don't have a directors tab
that should be brought up to a developer as this would technically count as a bug because of the site missing a crucial functionality as is for the dnp and cdnp
