Big fan of these two gens, love the situation and description too. It would be impossible not to stare as your ninetales gives it her all out there for you!

Both pics are great, but if I had to pick just one it'd probably be this one. I like the reaction shot, and she looks extra fluffy here :D. Either way, well done with these, always love seeing your ninetales!

Hey, this stuff is not only great, but really inspiring. I wish I could've been on the original 4chan thread that had it.

How does someone get into making or 'directing' Ai art like this? Obviously, I'm sure it's pretty complicated, but what are some starting points? Or maybe a website I can go to that has starting points? Doesn't seem to be much for Furry Stuff. Any help?
    Thanks. 🐾🥛

So there's no lingering consciousness from the previous kobold that the skull came from? No self-realization what it is or what it was? Sounds like a bone golem in the shape of a kobold.

No lingering conciousness, but they have their own mind and personality that grows as they learn, same as any sentient species.
Kind of like Warforged. Warforged are created, but they are not mindless. Indeed, they are fully autonomous, able to learn, and able to take independent action.
No two Gelatinous Kobold are alike, even if they somehow get the same exact rune-pattern carved into their skulls. Which, given how delicate carving into skulls supposedly is, is not an easy thing to do; There's always a little variation.

When they hit certain ages (13, 20); They replace their smaller bones with larger ones and form more gel, so they look bigger and more mature.
These are also the ages where their minds generally mature enough to control more of the gel they create.

So while they are constructed and don't age per se, they still 'grow up' and mature mentally and emotionally.
And, since the gel makes up most their features; they tend to look more mature as they reach adulthood, as that's how they think they should look.

They are also quite aware that they are using the bones from dead kobolds, but since breaking free of servitude to the mages that made them, they tend to trade for bones, to have a stockpile for adults who want to start a family or to replace broken bones.
They accept that it's how they are made.
They are going out of their way to avoid being seen as hostile or evil, so they don't raid graveyards or steal bones, since there are not enough of them to survive being purged by any stronger race.

The general-held belief is that a soul is created when the runes are carved.
Much how a new soul is created at conception, in most RP/D&D worlds.
Upon 'death' (IE: The skull being destroyed or the runes being marred irreparably), the soul is released.
So they view the runes that bind them as their soul or brain.

still don't get why so many artists draw the spine splitting off much higher than it should be ... always looks weird ... remember tails are an extension of the spine and shouldn't connect to the middle or top of the pelvis!
