    Menstruation and being in heat are two different things. Being in heat means that one is fertile (ovulation). Menstruation is the period following ovulation when no fertilization has occurred and the body returns the uterus to its normal state (resulting in menstrual bleeding). During ovulation, the uterine lining thickens to prepare for the implantation of a fertilized egg. Consequently, bleeding does not occur while in heat—unless, of course, it coincides with the loss of virginity.

    I for one think it's a good piece, it clearly had a lot of effort put into it and I think you did well by the tags. AFAIK, there is usually/always spotting for a canine in heat, so I am not sure if the down votes are for the tagging issue or the blood, but it seems weird to me, giving how many other things get thumbed up xD

    Nah most of these are older gens I just never uploaded due to no account, I'm just doing a little sprucing up on most of em if anything. Glad you like them though, going back through all these older gens makes me want to give some the styles another whirl with what I've learned over time.

    Technically, it is called "estrus" or "in heat", as period is a human thing/word (some other animals also have periods, but dogs are not among those animals) so, calling it a period is not correct.
