I thought so, too. It's a little more 'on' than the robes usually are for the family, but it does show they can be elegant...they just usually choose not to. XD

I agree with the sentiment, more on model depictions are usually better, generally my preference is on model proportions and style, just expanded enough to make them seem like they'd be anatomically correct for what they are. Usually that means that there might be nipples but there wouldn't usually be breasts, and if there's appropriate genitals to draw from they probably have that. Stuff like Lopunny and Gardevoir in particular already have a pretty nice aesthetic with their on model proportions, I get why people try to exaggerate them to be more curvy but they really don't need it, they're already some of the most human-like pokemon.

YES! THANK YOU! You get it! Such a great picture of Lopunny. Almost perfectly accurate to the official art, just a bit taller than Lopunny is usually depicted as, but otherwise amazing!

Of the approximate 31,600 Japanese soldiers who were stationed on Saipan for its defense, only 921 were taken as prisoners of war, a rate of only about 2.9%; meanwhile around the same time, Operation Overlord (the Allied amphibious landing and assault of occupied France's coast) was happening; of the approximately 640,000 axis troops defending and reinforcing the defense of the beach landings, about 233,000 were taken prisoners of war- a rate of 36.4%; an entire order of magnitude higher. This stark contrast demonstrates just how tough of nuts the Japanese were to quack.
