Belfort and Lupin (originally developed under the name Versailles Unleashed) is a French animated series co-produced by Ellipse Animation and Belvision.

Taking place at the Palace of Versailles in France during the reign of Louis XIV, the stories are told from the perspectives of two animals that form an unlikely friendship: Belfort (a spaniel owned by the royal family, whose pampering has left him with no sense of smell or usual hunting dog instincts) and Lupin (a black wolf that was orphaned as a puppy and lives in the forest outside the palace).
