cyanotic epithelium

This term refers to epithelial tissues (mouth, tongue, genitals) with a blue or violet color. Normally, mammals and other animals with hemoglobin-based blood have red or pink epithelium. For the intents of art, of course a character's feature can be any color. This trait is tagged for the purpose of establishing an exhaustive tag library.
