Xin Yan begins her day in the high mountain temple of Xailin, her bedroom door slid open to the frigid elements and breathtaking view. The young snow leopard's coat is more than a match for the sub-zero temperatures even if her traditional Chinese dress is a little on the thin side. She stretches and fixes her hair with a wooden pin and tassel, tying it up and out of the way for the day's martial arts lessons.

Quick on her feet and even quicker to charm, her long legs and fierce wit have been the downfall of many of Xailin's other teenage hopefuls.
