Happy New 2025 1999!
The New Year collab pic didn't took off and this one isn't gonna either but hey at least I actually had lots of fun making this piece.
What if we took these usual "snow & fireworks" celebratory gens and tried to add some interesting idea and extra effort into them? I tried to bring the vibes of these old photos you had to print off the films back in the days. Slight overexposure, a bit of color skew, some camera motion blur here and there, and the old timestamp included.
You've been told not to touch that album on the attics!
This picture has been manually assembled from 10 independently inpainted layers. There are multiple unique snow layers with their own particle sizes and blur parameters as well as lighting received from the firework. This project is also the first one I ever tried making in a higher resolution than my usual 4k one.
