It's so weird how I'm getting better results from hailuo than KLING. Maybe it's the free trial? I don't know. Compared to KLING where one out of like, 10 of the things I generated really impressed me, for hailuo, out of the eight images I put into img2vid, I was impressed by 5/8 out of them.

Maybe it's just me. I probably haven't messed with KLING hard enough.

But, wow! It didn't give the otter cursed teeth! Human-ish teeth, but it's moderate enough to where it doesn't feel uncanny. Love this one a lot.

  • This AI video stuff is really making me feel like we've just uncovered a way to get videos from other multiverses or something. I wish I could share this stuff with people but I can't because it's usually porn, lol.

Well, don't worry. Most img2vid stuff posted here is somewhat SFW because all the providers are forcing a censor down our throats. I don't know how some found a bypass, but I hope to find a similar one.

But you're right on the money, though. It feels surreal that we're achieving something that only a few years ago, people would hardly agree on being possible—at least at its current stage. It's that kind of thing most people don't think about until they experience it themselves. There's just something so nice seeing something static and 2D/3D turn into a full-on animation; unpredictable animation. I suppose the best part is not knowing what it'll give you, even when you hand it a prompt. That's a little thing I enjoy about AI generation. The whole aspect of unpredictability and surprises.

I'm talking a lot here, so I'll probably stop.

There is no real bypass, you just try enough images in hopes that the filter doesn't trigger. Some styles get by better than others. The downside is that it didn't trigger because the software has difficulty identifying what its looking at, which also lowers the chances for success.

Most that get through either need a lot of tries at making a video, or don't ever get useful results.

I've had some luck cranking up the saturation on the source image. When the colors are all blown out, it seems to have a harder time figuring out what it is. Once generated, I just turn the saturation back to normal levels in video editing (Resolve works well for color editing & is free).

Oh, for real? I'll test that out once I get home, then. You'll have my eternal blessing if it does work.

You can also try messing with the hue too. Hopefully in time we'll be able to run these locally like image generation and not have the restrictions. We're in the early days of video AI, and right now it requires an insane amount of GPU power that only these companies can supply. I'd say in a year's time or so it'll be optimized enough to run on rigs capable of image generation currently. That's when it'll really take off and get fun.

  • The wonders of modern tech

    This is outstanding ❤️ 💙

    D:

Everything I see stuff this good on this site, I think
If this is possible now ...
Just think of what we will have
In 5 years time tech wise not only because the tech is always improving

But because people are making random stuff like this daily or weekly!
