Description
Though Lazarus Station is known for its cutting edge AGI research, it also has excellent prosthetics and robotics research teams. It’s a rite of passage for all new employees to design, assemble, configure and neurotune a set of robotic arms upon hiring. Many wear the limbs around on a vest mount, but after taking off their second arms at night and feeling naked, an increasing number of employees are opting to have the cybernetics arms surgically attached to their body.
Here, their latest hire Trisha enjoys a shower in a microgravity section of the research station. Two weeks post-op, the synthetic flesh grafts have taken and are quickly being replaced by a very real layer of flesh and blood over her biocompatible cybernetic arms. It’s a good thing she has the extra arms too, because it takes her extra long to shower now that she has a second huge fluffy tail to wash as well.
