The DAISy unit is incompatible with military or security roles accordingly and will refuse any instructions that it knows can lead to harm to any other being, going so far as to shut down and function-lock should such directives be given. Function can be restored if the unit is returned to an authorized service center. They are infinitely programmable for administrative roles, such as receptionist, dispatch, office administration, and an almost infinite host of functions and useful purpose. Though not primarily intended for the role, the DAISy is capable of intimate interactions and sexual indulgences while exhibiting no negativity to any particular interest requested of it.
