Description
“Morning exercise is an excellent way to improve your physical and mental wellbeing, and to prepare for the day ahead. Single sessions have distinct positive effects, but to get the real benefits, a morning workout should be done as regularly as possible. Exercising every day is ideal, but don’t feel put out if that isn’t possible! A decent session every few days will have huge benefits, and is very worthwhile.
“If you are not used to regular exercise, or haven’t had a regular pattern of exercise for some years, don’t jump into daily exercise right away! Going too far too quickly can strain the body, and cause injury or distress. It is better to start off with a mild training regimen, so that you get used to the activity. For instance, start first with bi-weekly or weekly sessions, and then move to sessions every 5 days, 3 days, 2 days, etc.. If possible, do exercise with someone you like! That will increase the motivation of both of you. Studies show that regular exercise is 80% more likely to be maintained when done with a friend!”
