Is the image of the zoroark laying on the beach the pre-quel to this series?

I love how [most] of them have their father's eyes, so there is no denying they're his, though in my head-cannon the one with closed eyes has their mother's eyes like the one in the boy's lap.

I'd love to see a narrative behind this, or more to the series.

Zoroark on the beach isn't a prequel. I'll definitely continue this series at some point when I think of something.
