Acktually, the species tag is not right. Selkies are seals, the aquatic horse ones would be Kelpies instead.

Another misconception is that Kelpies are aquatic. There is a _differnt_ type of spirit, half-fish, half-horse, which is but it's not very commonly known and is directlya ssociated with mermaids. Yes, Kelpies kidnap and drag people into body of water, butthey appear either as horses or as humans with very smallhits of water-related nature (e.g. greens stuck in their mane\hair).
