Higher ranking individuals within the maid corps are easily distinguished by their gold accented armor. A gold tiara denotes a war master, one of the highest titles granted to a maid. Although a simple concept, it is effective. The more gold, the higher the rank, and the more respect the maid deserves.
While a maid does receive pay through their organization, most of their income comes directly from their contracted clients.
