It's not too much of a secret (yiffymix, kavka, etc) but I do prefer keeping the exact merges I use private, though I may release a merge on CivitAI if I think it's good enough!

Yiffymix alone though can get really good ferals, for prompting I recommend using the tags feral and species tags together and near the beginning of the prompt. Like "(feral, domestic_dog)" or "(feral, horse)", etc. The raw generations are often all over the place, so you'll have to cherry pick a few to improve on with hand-painting to fix things like anatomy or pose. Then you can use img2img or inpainting to really refine it!

If you see a model that does good ferals or does decent realism try merging it with yiffymix or a similar model as a base. I've found that Yiffymix has a lot of concepts in it that other models may be lacking, so those merges are often more robust. Good Luck!
