Description
From DA
They say the mansion on the edge of the woods is haunted, be he didn't heed the warnings... Night after night, the malevolent spirit has its way with the lonesome maid, stuffing him full of treats from the pantry which always seem to be in generous supply. There is no resisting, no escape. Only time will tell how long that uniform will hold out...
Throwing out a curveball to all those people with basic pattern recognition skills expecting a onesie picture! >:P
This has got to be one of my favourite pieces I've done as a request (a private one) in most terms, and surprisingly I managed to stay mostly focused throughout the whole thing! The original concept of a fat, hypnotised, mon maid lead pretty seamlessly into the haunted mansion sort of idea (maids work in fancy places, certain pokemon are capable of learning Hypnosis, and Haunters are perfect fits for a floating hands style piece ;D). Oh, and happy new year, I guess. I hadn't really been planning on being around, but here I am for now.
I really probably should start trusting the AI to be able to do this itself with a bit of guidance, but instead went with my fairly involved and time consuming methods >_> This started off with generating the character base and upscaling with a few methods before compositing the best bits together. The belly was completely exposed, which was both good and bad. I painted over the belly to make the uniform actually cover it all, then used img2img to make it fit the style. Since I then had a version with the belly covered, and one with the belly exposed, I could place the covered belly version over the exposed one, and mask out spots for where I wanted the tears to come through. I'm still not great with tears - I really should consume more content featuring them, same with pov feeding. I nudged things around with liquify to give the feeling of smooshy fat oozing through the gaps, and again had the AI go over what I'd done to make it fit better. If you remember my previous hand strategies, I've done the same here - generate a bunch of hands in another images, edited them down to fit, then composited them in to the main image, edited them to fit, then lightly inpainted so they're more integrated into the main image. The cake was grabbed from outside generations too, and any wonkiness is down to the additions I drew in ^_^; Then again, the background was generated separately, I picked one that worked from the options, and plonked the chonker onto it (happily they were wide enough to conceal that the background generated with 3 chandeliers hanging chained together, so I didn't have to fix it ;p). I did some basic colour grading/manipulating to help with the haunted vibe, though I realised I could've experimented more with colouring style I've been intending to try out at some point.
I'm still not fully confident on some probably passable elements:
- Does the small apron work okay, or should I have made it more bunched up and folded?
- Do the somewhat nonsense sylveon ribbons work, even though they don't make much sense connection wise? I do like that they add an edge of dramatic flair to the proceedings, and do help draw the eye. I do have a version without them, but I think it looks better with them?
